SWEET DISCIPLINE by Bonnie Harme

Norris Brownell has started and quit just about every diet out there, but she is determined to succeed at the one offered by Sweet Discipline, if only to prove her friend Kendra, who completed the program, wrong.  Initially appalled and revolted by her assigned trainer’s regimen of exercise, diet and behavior modification, Norris soon comes to crave Adrian’s attentions and his touch.

Adrian Townsend knows that Norris’ expectations are part of what helps her fail.  That’s why he creates a regimen that will force her to change; however, that regimen is also his initial training of her for himself.  The more she bends to his will, the more he wants her.  Can he finish what he started before he claims her as his own?

A diet program with a twist is how Ellora’s Cave should have marketed Sweet Discipline, the first release from Bonnie Harme.  Told mostly from Norris’ point of view, the book keeps you wondering as to the actual program at the exclusive spa up to nearly the end.  And while Ellora’s Cave did release the book with a warning note to the readers that the book contains several scenes of discipline, this reviewer found them to be no more than the normal standards of BDSM in their usual releases.  Perhaps not what is expected at a luxury health spa, but no more than that?  When Norris and Adrian finally have sex, the scene leaps from the page with an electric release of tension that catches the reader off guard, but is the perfect climax to the long tease before it.  Ms. Harme has a talent for words that surprised me considering this is her first release in this genre.   This is a wonderful book that I highly recommend.
