Olivia
Jones is an interior designer on the rise in her profession. When she
returns
home to South Carolina
to restore the stone mansion, Mallenegua, Olivia faces the biggest
challenge of
her life. Fourteen years ago, Olivia left pain and heartache behind,
leaving
the only man she’d ever really loved. Joe Connally and Olivia married
because
she was pregnant. But when they miscarried, Joe and Olivia agreed that
their
marriage was over and parted ways.
But now,
Joe is the architect in charge of the restoration of Mallenegua and
Olivia has
to bid for the job as the interior designer and hopes that Joe’s past
feelings
for her won’t stand in the way of her getting the job. Olivia finds it
difficult to be around Joe as they work together and finds her feelings
for him
are stronger than ever. But can she trust him with her heart again when
he
broke it before?
This time
around, Olivia finds that she needs Joe more than ever before, as
unknown
danger and strange happenings in the mansion threaten her life.
Danger, intrigue
and unfinished business, make Pale
Moon Rising an exciting and intense read. Joe quickly realizes
that he
wants Olivia back in his arms and his life forever, but he has to prove
to her
that she can trust him. With Joe’s catty mother, Eleanor, a huge
obstacle in
their way, Olivia and Joe do not have an easy time learning about one
another
again. Combined with the unknown danger
that is around many corners, their reconciliation takes a beating and
the
question arises, if they’ll see it all through to the end or not.
Ms. Gray
crafts a great romantic suspense tale that pleases her audience with Pale Moon Rising.
