In the future, a new race of people is born. The grandchildren of the children born around the time of the red creature are both gifted and feared. They are Firewalkers, different, powerful and hunted. Banding together, the survivors work tirelessly to save the children from persecution.
Caris Montgomery a strong telepath and empathy uses her abilities to save the other Firewalkers. Caris ability to dream sometimes becomes reality if she wants it strongly. Dreaming of Vampire a lover to help combat her loneliness Caris upon awakening one morning is pleasantly surprised to find her dream lover has appeared.
Jax Regale, from another planet is also hated and feared for his vampirism. Left bound to be exposed to the deadly rays of his planets twin suns, Jax is saved by a woman who more than understands what it feels like to be different and hunted. Summoned by Caris dream Jax is grateful for his freedom and falls for Caris. He joins Caris in her cause of saving the Firewalker children.
FIREWALKERS: DREAMER is an intriguing novel with a rich cast of characters. The idea of the Firewalkers is fascinating. Ms. Walker’s enthralled me with the plight of the Firewalkers, the interaction of Caris and Jax and the extremely hot delicious sex scenes. The threesome was decadent, titillating and fiery hot. I recommend FIREWALKERS: DREAMER as a fulfilling read and look forward to the next in the series.
