Shannon
McAllister moved to Los
Angeles
in hopes of selling her cross-stitch designs and starting her career. Her co-worker, Donna, is jealous of Shannon’s obvious talent and will do anything to
embarrass her. Donna sends Shannon to
the Chateau L’Kost in Beverly
Hills,
under the pretense that it’s a fabulous dating service.
When Shannon
arrives, she soon realizes she’s been deceived and the Chateau is
really some
erotic playhouse. She tries to make a
quick exit, but when her so-called date arrives in the form of The
Marquis, she
is frightened and a just a little bit fascinated. The
Marquis is clothed in black leather breeches,
which gives her much more detail about his body than she needs. He’s aggressive with Shannon
because he thinks she’s playing a sexual game with him.
After Shannon
finally escapes, he realizes she’s innocent and has no idea what the
Chateau is
all about.
Back at the
shop, Shannon’s new customer is none
other
than soap actor, Ben Tate. Donna’s
jealously grows, when Ben seems to be interested in Shannon
on a personal level. Ben seems to be Shannon’s knight in shining armor when he shows
up at
various times to save her from some tragedy or when she needs emotional
support. Shannon
is confused by her feelings and now she’s being pursued by The Marquis. The Marquis wants more from Shannon
and he’s gradually drawing her into his erotic seduction.
Can The Marquis break down the barriers and
convince Shannon that he’s interested
in more
than just passion? And what about Ben?
The Marquis
is a true alpha-male, plus he’s sensual, erotic and oh so blessed. Shannon is
naive and confused about her feelings for the two men in her life, but
The
Marquis’ gentle, yet erotic seduction may just win her heart. Well-developed secondary characters bring
energy and excitement into this already tempting story.
DISGUISED
ENCHANTMENT was somewhat different than I expected, but I found it to
be very satisfying. Newcomer S. Quinn
McAfee does an outstanding
job on her first published work. She
digs deep into the emotions of the characters and delivers a believable
fantasy
for your reading pleasure. DISGUISED
ENCHANTMENT
is truly enchanting and should not be missed.
