Nicole is
fascinated by the leopard that she sees prowling at the Central Park
Zoo. While
he fascinates her, he also frightens her terribly, when he acts as if
he wants
to attack her. That isn’t the only strange thing that Nicole
experiences
though. Besides not being able to be near the leopard’s cage, she has
developed
a crazy craving for raw meat. She seems to be consumed with a fever and
headache that drives her insane, until she feeds the frenzy with raw,
red meat.
That is extremely strange for a vegetarian. Then she meets the sexy
zookeeper,
Vitali, who excites her as no man ever has. She wants to beg him to
throw her
to the ground and have sex with her, every time that he is near. All of
these
things combined make for some very strange occurrences in Nicole’s
life, but
that isn’t where the strangeness ends. She soon learns that Vitali, his
brother
Ilia, and herself share some things in common with the leopard at the
zoo. She
is somehow linked to the three of them, and it is a life bond that she
can’t
escape, even if she tries, everything that she needs to know she will
find in
the EYES OF THE LEOPARD. All she has to do is look at herself, Vitali,
and
Ilia…it is there that all of her questions will be answered.
Ms. Jordan
pens a
dark and sensual novella with this first installment in the EYES OF THE
LEOPARD
series. It is animalistic and carnal, all the while being frighteningly
arousing. I found myself captivated by the storyline; the stark
sexuality of
Vitali was amazingly stimulating. Who could blame Nicole for falling
under his
spell? He is a stunningly sleek, sexy character that indeed possesses
some
animalistic qualities. He would surely bring out the beast in any
female. This
novella is a sizzler for sure. However, a note to the reader, there is
a group
sex scene involving Nicole, Vitali, and his brother Ilia. If group sex
scenes
offend, this might not be the novel for you. But, given the contents of
the
book, the scene was written tastefully and erotically, fitting in with
the
illusion that Ms. Jordan has created.
