THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS by Peter Hess

Thousands of years ago, Moses was called by God to return to Egypt to lead God’s chosen people out of slavery and into the Promised Land. In order to fulfill God’s commandment, Pharaoh had to be willing to let God’s people go. God sent a series of ten plagues on the Egyptians to convince them to free the Hebrew slaves.

THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS is written about the ninth of the ten plagues. The people were worn out, wondering what would happen to them. Were they all going to die? Did anyone care anyway?

There are multiple points of view in THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS, but the author stayed true to one point of view per scene. This is probably the best edited of all PublishAmerica books I’ve read. I was very impressed with that.

The story is well-written, and it has a very academic feel to the writing, making me feel like I was reading a textbook for a college class or something. But it seemed very true to Biblical history—making it obvious the author spent lots of time in research.

If you are interested in reading about the trials of the Hebrews and the Egyptians during the days of the plagues, pick up a copy of THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS today. You will learn a lot.
