Kimberly
has been forced to uphold the terms of an agreement, in order to
receive her inheritance
in five years. The terms are that she must remain untouched by a man,
and she
must receive an exam every three months, proving this. In order to
release her
frustrations and have a bit of sexual freedom, she visits The Club. The
Club
was founded by eight men who held political offices or aspirations, and
needed
to exercise their sexual desires and fantasies. The Club has given both
men and
women sexual freedom for years, one of those new members being Jared,
whose
father founded it. Kimberly has been running from Jared for over a
year, scared
of the feelings that he incites within her. However, the time of escape
is
over, and she is going to be forced to acknowledge the feelings that
she has
for Jared and that he has for her. Yet the fact that they can’t act
upon those
feelings for five more years is going to be a huge SACRIFICE for them
both to
make.
Jared has
wanted Kimberly for quite some time. He watches her frequent The Club,
and
wishes that he were the man that was helping her release her
frustrations. He
knows that she is bound in a contract that won’t let her enjoy the
passion that
they share. He has no desire to push her though, as she is worth the
wait. He
wants her, and nothing will cure that ache for her, he is willing to
wait five
more years, until she is available to him. He just has to convince her
that
they are meant to be together, and that he is willing to SACRIFICE
whatever he
has to, in order to be with her.
SACRIFICE
is a sizzling story about love, lust, and the SACRIFICES that fall
between.
Jared’s infatuated with Kimberly and the idea that he would go to such
lengths
to pursue and then have her, is admirable and honorable. The passion
that they
share rages throughout the pages while the fact that they can’t act on
their
desires in the usual way makes for a more unique and tantalizing read.
