For Max
Wier, the only good vampire is a dead one.
Ever since his police unit was integrated with the
vampire’s own
hunters, he’s had to repress his natural and learned hatreds in order
to work
with them. Now a new threat’s come to
town, a rogue werewolf pack that has taken the law into their own hands
and
don’t care if humans get in the way of their killing.
Pia D’Amato
is a vampire on a mission. The Council
head has spoken – she’s to turn or kill Max.
He’s a liability that the Council doesn’t need as
they set up the
southern Council. She’s not one to run
rather than complete the job. But Max
has secrets of his own that she never counted on.
Relentless
is more than just the title of Delilah Devlin’s latest installment in
the My Immortal Knight series.
Max Weir is relentless
in his pursuit of vampires and Pia.
Together, Pia and Max heat up the pages with a
passion that’s drowning
in its intensity. Complications for Ms.
Devlin’s Vampire Council continue, seamlessly blending this story into
the
previous ones, yet it still stands alone as an individual story. There are twists and turns, a plot more
complicated and realistic than any soap opera topped with an ending
that no one
would have expected at the start. Ms.
Devlin kept me glued to the computer, eagerly reading, to the end. It’s not necessary to have read the previous
books to understand this one, though knowledge of them does enhance the
experience. I look forward to seeing how
she continues the evolution of her series.
