Priscilla
needs a man to meet her needs…a mechanical man, that is. Her regular
toys just
aren’t able to keep up with her, so she orders a new prototype
artificial
intelligence pleasure bot.
Declan
is a smuggler who needs a temporary hide-out. Agnes, Priscilla’s
artificially
intelligent computer, offers him a place to stay if he pretends to be
Priscilla’s pleasure bot. This may be the easiest and most pleasant job
he’s
ever had!
THE
PLEASURE BOT is billed as a humorous erotic story, and it certainly
tries its
best at giving you laughs. The premise is funny, and Priscilla’s and
Declan’s interactions
with each other will provide a snicker or two. The book is a good read,
but in
my opinion, fell a little short towards the end. I was never quite
convinced
why the two characters fell in love with each other after only such a
short
time together, most of which were spent having sex. The author could
have done
a bit more at the end of the book to show more about how Priscilla
adjusts to
the idea of being with a real person instead of an intelligent robot. A
little
more relationship development would have made this a better book.
