Tamara is
excited about going to Mexico to dig for ancient
ruins. However,
she does have her doubts about working with Professor Saint John
Twaine, aka
Professor Sin, aka the Ivy League Beast. She has heard nothing but
horror
stories about him, yet she is determined that she won’t let him scare
her away
from her dream of uncovering Mayan treasures. The moment she meets him,
she is
instantly put off. He scares the living daylights out of her, and of
course,
she calls him a few choice names, so that might not have helped her to
get in
his good graces. In spite of their negative first impressions, she is
determined to make him like her, because she desperately wants to dig
at his
site. She might soon change her mind though, because it becomes
frighteningly
clear that the site could be haunted, and that the two of them have
uncovered a
curse…one that will ruin them. As if things couldn’t get worse than
that, she
seems to have developed a small crush on the devastatingly handsome
Professor
Sin. Could things get worse?
SinJin,
also known as Professor Saint John Twaine, can’t believe the cream puff
that Princeton sent him to help on his
dig. She
hardly seems capable of piecing together some of history’s mysteries,
but she
is a bombshell. He still doesn’t want her to stay though, until she
proves that
she is quite the archaeologist, and that he might find her useful. That
much is
certainly true, she could be useful to him, both in and out of the
bedroom. Her
skills at the site are incomparable, and her prowess in the bedroom
isn’t
lacking either. Maybe he will keep her around for a little while, just
long
enough to find what they were looking for. Or maybe a little longer…
MAYAN
NIGHTS is a thoroughly entertaining tale of buried treasures, steamy
sex, and
ancient curses. SinJin is sinfully sexy and definitely encourages
females to
dig for buried treasure. He meets his match in Tamara, and together,
they heat
up the pages, both on the job and off. The twists and turns in the
storyline
keep it interesting, while the exotic setting sets the tone. Mexico sets a perfect mood for
this novel,
an ancient curse and some steamy sex only add to the excitement.
