A vampire and
a vampire slayer would never fall in love…right?
Wrong!
Erin O’Connell,
a vampire slayer swore she would track down Michael, the vampire who
killed her
entire family eight years ago. When she lands in New Orleans, she is hell-bent on
finding her
man, but then a tall, dark and handsome stranger enters her life and
she’s
confused by her feelings. He is a
vampire, like the very thing she’s sworn to hunt and destroy…
The moment
he touched the slayer, Leonardo knew she was his lifemate and
everything his
immortal existence would need. But Erin carries pain from the
past and her
heart is full of seeking vengeance. Can the vampire show his slayer her
true
destiny? Can eternal love be theirs for the taking?
Mmmm, Leonardo
is yet another
deliciously satisfying installment in the Descendants
of Darkness series by Marianne LaCroix. With
surprising looks into the past,
connections among the characters, as well as new characters, Ms.
LaCroix keeps
her reader connected to the vampires, their women and eagerly awaiting
more.
Leonardo
and Erin find passion within each other’s arms that neither was
expecting to
find with an enemy. Being with these
characters,
all of our sense are touched, seduced and fulfilled. The pace is quick,
the
passion hot and intense and the pen of the author is always pleasing to
the
reader. Leonardo is
the third Descendant
of Darkness to fall and not to be missed. I definitely look forward
to
reading book four, Raife!
