Marlow Jane
Smith is turning 30 today and her best friend and office assistant,
Joey, knows
just what she needs. Marlow has suffered
through a divorce and a disastrous relationship and Joey wants her to
have a
little fun so she hires an escort for Marlow’s birthday present. Marlow has no intention of actually going
through with the escort thing, but her strong convictions won’t allow
her to
leave him waiting, so she goes to the meeting place to tell him the
deal is
off. When she arrives, she’s immediately
attracted to the sexy hunk of a man who she mistakes for her escort. Will she be able to blow him off?
Liam
Campbell is used to getting what he wants, especially from women, but
when a
sassy, sexy lady approaches him at a bar to say she’s not interested in
his
services he’s not quite sure what to do.
He’s definitely not in the escort business, but
he’ll pretend if it’ll
get sexy Jane Smith into his bed. After
a night of the best sex of his life, Liam wants more time with Jane,
but she
disappears before he can find out anything about her.
Three
months later, Marlow is stunned and angry when her so-called “escort”
walks
into her office in the form of business consultant Liam Campbell. Liam is just as stunned since he’s spent
the
past three months dreaming every sexual fantasy imaginable about
Jane…now here
she is in the form of Marlow Smith the person he will be working with
everyday
for the next three weeks. No matter how
hard they try, Marlow and Liam can’t keep their hands off each other. Once they finally give into the lust, they
totally burn up the sheets and everything else they have sex on…which
is just
about everything you can imagine. Will
either of them be able to walk away when the three weeks are up?
THE HIRED
HAND is a cute, funny and extremely sexy tale that grabbed my attention
from
the very beginning. New author Melissa
Schroeder did a fabulous job with this much used storyline. I thought it would be the same old mistaken
identity thing, but Ms. Schroeder made it special with her writing and
comedic
talents. The connection I felt with the
characters was amazing. I loved Joey,
Marlow’s best friend, who is absolutely hilarious and the kind of
friend we all
need. I sensed some sexual tension
between Joey and Liam’s brother Heath…could there be a sequel…I can
hope can’t
I? For a delightfully sexy read, be sure
to download your copy of THE HIRED HAND.
