Lord
Anthony Hart senses that his Lady, Lady Elizabeth, has feelings for
Knight
Wolfe. This being so, he gives her free reign to pursue these feelings
to
decide if it is love that she feels for the Knight. However, if she
decides to
do so, she can never return to Lord Hart as his Lady.
Lady
Elizabeth knows that Lord Hart adores her, yet she can’t bring herself
to feel
the same way. She has developed feelings for a Knight, who prefers his
women to
be more submissive. She knows that she will never be able to be tamed,
as if he
wishes her to be, but she can please him, if he would just let her go
on being
as she is. After receiving permission to act on her desires from Lord
Hart, she
begins to make her intentions towards Knight Wolfe known. Now it is up
to him
to respond accordingly.
Knight
Wolfe has no intentions of wanting a woman such as Lady Elizabeth. She
is much
too wild and carefree for his liking. Yet something about her calls to
him, and
he can’t deny that he wants to tame her, to bend her to his will, and
make her
his own. Will he succeed in making her submissive, or will she end up
dominating him?
HART’S
HEART is an erotic novella that tempts and teases and then turns the
tables on
the reader. The storyline is unusual yet appealing, there is romance,
heat, and
rampant desires, yet the theme is different. Lord Hart rules his
castle, yet
can’t rule Lady Elizabeth’s heart. I found myself wanting to change the
storyline and make things work out differently, until the end. I had to
finish
reading to see how things worked out for Lord Hart, Lady Elizabeth, and
Knight
Wolfe.
When I did
finish, I was completely amazed at how Ms. Hoppe ends it, the ending is
dramatic, interesting and very different. In spite of my misgivings at
how the
story was progressing, I enjoyed the twists and turns at the end, and
have to
say that it was a satisfying read. It is not your average erotic
romance, keep
that in mind, and enjoy HART’S HEART.
