Captain Tyree
St. James
has haunted the Magnolia Cove Museum for years. Two hundred years
ago his best friend, Sullivan Fouquet, cursed Tyree to haunt the
earth for two hundred years, or until he found a love so strong, his
lady love would be willing to die in his place. Living a life as
neither alive or dead has had its toll on Tyree as he has tried to
end the curse put upon him, but to no avail. With only one-week
left, does Tyree have a Ghost of a Chance to live again or will he
finally meet his death?
Clara Fergussen
traveled to Magnolia Cove for the pirate festival and to learn about
one of her pirate ancestor’s, Captain Sullivan Fouquet. When Clara
learns all she can on Sullivan, she plans to write an article for
the Adventure Magazine Contest, where her prize would be a yearlong
trip on a yacht and a freelance contract. The place for Clara to
begin will be the Magnolia Cove Museum. With no other rooms
available because of the festival, Clara must spend her nights
there.
Only Clara never
imagined what, or should I say whom, she would find at the museum.
One night and her life is forever changed thanks to Tyree St. James
who claims to be a pirate. Clara doesn’t understand why he keeps
insisting that he’ll be gone forever by the end of the week. Is
Clara dreaming? Is Tyree St. James just a figment of her
imagination?
Just when one
thinks Nina Bruhns can’t get any better, she pulls Ghost of a Chance
from her pen and wow’s her audience. With a powerful force of
intrigue and excitement from the first few pages, a reader is
riveted to this story until the very end. With the Bruhns brand of
humour and sensuality between the characters, intrigue and emotional
ups and downs, Ghost of a Chance is a superb read that readers won’t
want to miss. Ms. Bruhn’s weaves romance and suspense with a bit of
the paranormal, and does it exceedingly well.
Tyree is one
hell of a scoundrel, rascal and an all around regular pirate, but
boy does he still capture one’s heart! In all his sexiness and
dastardly ways, he is the exactly the kind of man a woman dreams
about…just ask Clara!!
Ghost of a
Chance by Nina Bruhns, you won’t be taking just a chance on this
one, you’ll be taking the ride of your life!
