For Tory Patton it
was the story of a lifetime. To those who wanted it all to remain
hidden, it was life and death and their target was Tory, the feisty
reporter asking too many questions. To get the exclusive interview
with P.O.W. Tom King before any other reporter, Tory travels to
Central America to get the job done. But when Tom King is the target
for assassins, Tory finds herself running for her life and rescuing
the man she came to see.
With the help of
Ben, an undercover agent who she thought was nothing but a playboy,
Tory gets King out alive, has more questions than ever before and a
smoldering passion for Ben that terrifies her. Tory is an Athena
girl, nothing is supposed to scare her. Athena is a training
academy that trained her in Special Ops and defense, so what is a
tough-girl like her doing being scared of Ben and the attempts on
her life?
Travel with
reporter Tory Patton as she fights desire, to stay alive and uncover
all the secrets that some feel are worth killing for…
What a bombshell
Exposed by Katherine Garbera is! Action, adventure, adrenaline
rushes, passion, grit and determination combine to make this an
awesome read. Ms. Garbera pens a feisty, yet vulnerable heroine in
Tory Patton. Tory is an outstanding character, one that I love to
read, and while she knows how to take care of herself and get the
job done, she also has a pure heart and fights for what is right.
Intrigue, suspense,
desire and powerful writing really explode within the pages of
Exposed. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, Ms. Garbera
would throw something into the fray and I would find myself
rethinking everything and even going back to previous pages to make
sure I hadn’t missed a thing! A reader is drawn into this tale by
the author and it’s as if we are running along side Tory and Ben,
looking for answers and getting to the bottom of it all. This is a
one-sitting read and I am still feeling the adrenaline rush days
after finishing it.
Ms. Garbera
delivers romantic suspense perfectly with a wonderful cast of
characters, edge of your seat suspense and drama. I hated to see
this story end. I do hope we get to see more of these Exposed
characters again soon and I hope Ms. Garbera will write another
bombshell best-seller like this one…I’d be the first in line!
