FBI Agent,
David Marshall is a man on a mission. He has spent the last decade
trying to
get enough evidence against art thief, Peyton Shriver to lock him away
forever. David thought that with the
help of Cassie Copper, Shriver’s latest conquest, he’d get all he
needed against
him and get his justice. But his
carefully laid plan blows up when Cassie and Peyton both disappear. On the day he was to meet Cassie, David is
kept waiting until he sees her jogging in his direction. Only it’s not
Cassie
Copper, but her twin sister, Maddie!
David has no choice but to let Maddie in on his
plans with her sister…
Maddie can’t
believe that her sister Cassie, who she has always protected, has been
helping
the FBI. Maddie has always had to
lookout for Cassie since they were kids, and she is furious that David
got her
sister involved. Now that Cassie is
missing, Maddie demands David’s help to work together and find her. Maddie will stop at nothing to keep Cassie
safe.
Maddie has always
distrusted men, and trusting David is something she has to work on,
especially since
she needs him to find her sister. Can
Maddie and David find Cassie, bring a thief to justice and keep from
driving
one another insane? Maddie and David
discover a whole new meaning to Charmed
and Dangerous, as their hearts and bodies need rescuing too!
Fun, delectable
and a real treat. Lorie Wilde once again delivers a great romance to
her
readers with the romantic comedy, Charmed
and Dangerous. Maddie and Cassie
are twins and complete opposites…or are they? Each lives life the way
they
always have, yet just maybe, they want the life the other one has. Maddie and Cassie are a delight in this story
and I thoroughly enjoyed their sassiness and their seriousness. David
is a man
who is all about control. He doesn’t
give it up easily. In fact, he rarely gives it up at all.
He guards his heart fiercely, but Maddie
works her way in and he doesn’t’ want her to let go.
Charmed and Dangerous is a roller-coaster ride
of
adventure, through Venice and Monaco and straight to the
heart of the
reader. Enjoyable, fun, engaging and
shouldn’t be missed! I’ll be watching for the next Wilde story!
