Council law demands her
death and
the death of any who protect her. Maggie
has to depend on Danior, Lord of vampires, to help her understand what
she’s
become and to assist her in escaping.
Danior pledged to uphold the law, yet one look at
Maggie has him
breaking all the rules he helped to create.
Will they have the time to admit their feelings
before the Council finds
them?
Carnal Thirst is a fast-paced, lively
addition to Ms. Anwar’s series of Cajun vampire
and werewolf books. Once again, she
keeps the reader wondering who’s going to win in the end, the lovers or
those
out to destroy them. Maggie and Danior’s
instant bond, Maggie’s struggle to accept it, and the final
confrontation
between the Council’s goons and the lovers, make for intense reading. While the publisher comments on degrading
sex, I did not see this in the reading; however other, more sensitive
readers
may.
