Stefan is a
vampire, who proves all of the stereotypes about vampires wrong. Unlike
the
vampires of the movies and books, he doesn’t shun daylight or melt
away.
However, unlike any vampire that you’ve ever read about, he sits around
for
hours on end playing Nihilism On Line (NOL) on his computer. He loves
the game,
but it drives him crazy because he can’t BEAT LEVEL NINE. He notices
the same female
online every night playing the same game, and he decides that she can
help him
with LEVEL NINE. Stefan decides to approach her on line and chat with
her, to
see if she can give him some tips.
Caroline
needs help with LEVEL NINE too. She has all of the tools that she
needs, but
always gets stuck. She notices the same figure, the Black Knight,
online every
night, playing and she gets an idea. She will see if he can help her
succeed in
BEATING LEVEL NINE. Thus the chase ensues…
She needs
his help, he needs her help, and they both begin a cyber flirtation
that
quickly gets serious. What happens when they join heads, will they be
successful at more than just BEATING LEVEL NINE, or will that be where
their
flirtation ends?
BEATING
LEVEL NINE is a fabulous vampire tale. I love the fact that Ms. Kelly
defeats
all of the stereotypes about vampires and creates a new type of vampire
character in Stefan. She once again writes a steamy, sexy novella that
gets hot
really quick. She is one of my favorite authors, and with reason, she
has a
knack for writing a spicy, hot tale with interesting characters and a
saucy
storyline. I definitely recommend this one to lovers of vampire tales
and those
that aren’t as well. Stefan is definitely a supernatural being that
defies all
other descriptions and makes himself very appealing to the reader.
Please note
though, that BEATING LEVEL NINE does include some profane language, so
if that
is offensive to you, beware. Otherwise, indulge and enjoy, sink your
teeth into
this one…it’s a tasty treat.
