Mel revels in being a
vampire,
challenging her powers with every physical test she can find. Yet more than anything, she longs to be
possessed by one of the ancient alpha male vampires whose existence is
little
more than rumors to the average vampire.
To live out her fantasy, Mel arranges to meet the
only semi-known
ancient vampire.
He is Zigor, owner of the
notorious
club known as Burgundy Peak.
He is a man deeply rooted in the past, refusing to
join the modern
world. Scores of women have offered him
their blood in exchange for a night in his bed, yet he has rarely
shared the
full extent of his all-consuming passion.
Kate Hill has created an
intriguing
world of vampires and humans. Though we
see only glimpses of this world in Vampire Master, I’m
certain
that more of it will be explored in subsequent stories.
Still, Zigor is an intense man, powerful and
dominant, with a no nonsense approach to relationships.
Mel is interesting, in an
I-don’t-rightly-know-what-I-want way.
Together, they are deliciously hot and intense with
wild sex highlighted
by intense teasing. This is a wild
introduction to Ms. Hill’s new series with Changeling Books. I eagerly await the next story in the series.
