Bodicea Knight was on her way to contentment. Captain of her own starship, she was trying to scrape together a living by selling space junk. She’d lucked out in her rummaging when she found MALCOM, her android co-pilot, mechanic, and sex toy. Her contentment would be complete if she could find and destroy the two men who had shattered her previous life. First and foremost was the space pirate Crowe, who had been instrumental in her father’s death. It was Tal English, however, who actually murdered her father. Tal was an undercover agent that had worked his way onto her father’s ship and into her heart, but in his quest to ensnare Crowe, killed Cea’s father and any hope for a future with her. Tal was the reason Cea had spent some time in prison, fatherless and penniless. It was Tal, Cea most wanted to get her hands on.
Cea soon got her chance to lay her hands on Tal, but not in the way she planned. In an attempt to relieve a space freighter of its cargo, Cea and MALCOM unwittingly save a rogue ship and its two occupants, Tal English and his partner Penny, an alien in human form with an overactive sex drive. All Cea wants to do is to kill Tal and throw his partner overboard, but Tal and Penny convince her to help them with their current mission. Crowe has, in his possession, an alien artifact from an unknown alien race. Once he figures out how to use it, will allow him to travel through space at incredible speeds and conquer the universe. Penny and Tal have a smaller version but they too don’t know how it works. They stumble on the answer during a heated sexual encounter between Penny and MALCOM. It is actually Cea that controls the object, which responds only to the sexual energy of the captain of a ship. With MALCOM occupied by Penny, Cea only has one choice to help complete the mission and save the universe, Tal.
PORTAL is a humorous science fiction adventure that will keep you on your toes. Will Cea get her revenge or will she give in to her heart? The crazy sexual antics of MALCOM and Penny are hysterical to read and leave you breathless at the same time. Sydney Morgann has created some wonderful characters that even though they live in a made up world, are still human enough to endear them to the reader. Get ready for hyper-drive and pick up your copy of PORTAL, it’s out of this world.
