DEADLY SHADOWS by Jaycee Clark

Evil is stalking the small town of Crested Butte, Colorado.  Women are the target and even the shadows aren’t safe…

Haunted by the past, Jesslyn Black keeps to herself, hiding her heart and won’t get close to anyone of the opposite sex. On the day of her friend Maddy’s birthday, Jesslyn finds her bloodied body on the side of the road when she goes to take her present to her.  Jesslyn sees a dark figure run past her and as the death of her friend sink in, so does fear as Jesslyn realizes she is the only witness in catching a killer…

CEO of Kinncaid Enterprises, Aiden Kinncaid heads to Crested Butte, Colorado to oversee the new Highland Hotel his family is building. There he meets writer Jesslyn Black who intrigues and tempts him.  No stranger to loss and heartache, Aiden is in no way looking for any form of a relationship.  But he feels the need to protect Jesslyn.

Will the killer strike and shatter the hearts of Aiden and Jesslyn, whose hearts are already fragile? Will the Deadly Shadows in Crested Butte ruin their second chance at love?

Romantic suspense has a new fantastic author and her name is Jaycee Clark!  Deadly Shadows keeps its audience guessing and waiting on the edge of their seats in suspense. The characters are superb, endearing and the Kinncaid men – I can’t wait for more!!

The small-town of Crested Butte, Colorado is depicted with realism and will never be the same. Ms. Clark creates suspense and bone-chilling fear as few authors of this genre can.  Deadly Shadows is the first of what I think will be many hits for Jaycee Clark, if this first book is any indication.  I can’t wait to see what she blesses her readers with next!
