All fashion
designer, Annmarie Weston wanted was to meet her deadline on time, when
men next
door start traipsing around half-naked!
Pedroni and Son Construction was a major distraction
for her girls
working to meet their big deadline. All
these men, sweating, walking around with no shirts on, were sending all
the
girls, Annmarie included, into ogling for a glimpse of them. Levelheaded Annmarie was getting distracted
herself, but by only one building god
– a man with long hair, bulging muscles and tight fitting jeans. As her girls get more and more distracted and
their work slows down, Annmarie heads over the to the construction site
to tell
the supervisor to have the men dress!
Only Annmarie finds herself in the arms of one Nick
Marone, the man who
captured her attention. She has never
encountered a man like Nick before and her thoughts are filled of him
and
carnal images of the two of them together.
Nick Marone
has watched Annmarie Weston from afar since they started their current
project.
Nick believes he’s out of Annmarie’s league.
She is high-society to his blue-collared sweat and
hard work. But that doesn’t stop him from
wanting her
and after his first taste of her; he craves more. But
Nick has dealt with rich women before,
even fancied himself in love with one years ago, only to have his pride
and
heart shattered. The more time he and
Annmarie spend together; he believes she wants him for who he is. Is Nick making a huge mistake?
68 & Climbing is an entertaining and
delightful
contemporary romance with a bit of humour and a whole lot of sexual
tension! Kate Douglas pens realistic
characters that are everyday, ordinary people looking for love. Ms. Douglas also proves that opposites do
attract and she does it with honest and direct emotions, and sweet
romance.
Annmarie is a gem of a woman and Nick is a sexy as hell construction
worker who
gives all he’s got, and then some!
68 & Climbing is sexy, fun, sweaty and
breathtaking romance all in one fabulous package. I
hope Kate Douglas writes another story like
this again very soon! I loved it and
can’t wait to read it all again!
