Single mother,
Cinda Ellis works hard to provide a good life with her daughter Sami,
but it’s
been rough on her own. Cinda works the graveyard shift, seven days a
week and
has little time to be with Sami. The
last thing Cinda needs or has time for in her life, is a man!
Sami misses
her Mom and wants to do something special for her on Mother’s Day. With the help of Ms. Collier, the neighbour
and her babysitter, Sami sends $25 to a bachelor auction that is
raising money
for kids, to get a date for her Mom on her special day.
Sami really wants to make her Mom smile and
laugh again.
Successful
author, Wade Travers was coerced into the bachelor auction by his
mother and
adamantly refused her pleas. Until he
read young, Sami Ellis’ letter wanting to make her Mom smile again. Wade can’t resist this little girl and agrees
to the weekend with Cinda Ellis.
What a
fairy-tale romance!! Kay Wilde pens one
of her best and most emotional tales yet, with Sold to
the Lowest Bidder.
Sami’s note had me reaching for tissues and her
sweetness and love for
her mother made my heart burst with love.
Wade and Cinda sizzle with instant attraction and
love at first
sight. Their weekend together is sexy
and carefree. Though Cinda did feel a
bit guilty over not spending the weekend with Sami, she also made her
daughter
the happiest little girl by enjoying her gift.
While the
romance and sensuality between Wade and Cinda was hot and exciting, Sold to the Lowest Bidder is a
tale of family, sacrifices, remembering what is important in life,
makes one
believe in love and Prince Charming. Kay
Wilde does a superb job with this story, adds her special brand of
heartfelt
words with wonderful writing and leaves her reader wanting more of the
same
great stories.
