For
billionaire, James Tremaine, it’s all about revenge. When he receives
an
anonymous note that his parents death years before was no accident and
he would
face the same fate, James is determined to uncover the truth about
their death
and erase the threat to his family. To
uncover the truth, James has to count on P.I., Tori Corbett to get the
answers. She is the daughter of the P.I.
James had hired when his parents died, and James hopes she can give him
everything he needs from her father’s old files. The
only trouble is that James never counted
on needing Tori for more than her P.I. connections…
Tori
Corbett learned everything about the P.I. business at her father’s knee. But with everything she learned; Tori isn’t
prepared for businessman, James Tremaine.
Taking his case would help her bank account, but
could break her heart
as business become personal. Determined
to prove herself to James and uncover the danger that shadows the
Tremaine
family, Tori is burdened with betrayals and deceit as evidence points
to her
own father…
In a harsh
game of vengeance, passion, power and control, Kylie Brant delights
readers
with Dangerous Deception. This
is another great tale of the Tremaine
family and the dangers that have plagued them for years.
Though part of a series, Dangerous
Deception does stand alone and romantic suspense
lovers can find what they crave inside these pages.
Great sexual tensions between Tori and James
do not override the story, only adding vividness and flair to it. James is a man who has been hurt in the past
and hides his emotions very well. Yet it is compelling to see how Tori
uncovered
his passions to the very heart of the man beneath.
A
fast-pace, intrigue and excitement draw a reader into Ms. Brant’s tale,
Dangerous Deception. From the
first line of this story of “Voices from
the grave swirled around him, haunting whispers of murder”… readers
can’t
help but continue on and never look back. It’s hard to walk away from a
Kylie
Brant book before it’s over and Dangerous
Deception was no exception!
