Abby and David Treasure seem to have the perfect marriage. After twelve years of wedded bliss, they have a nine year old son, two wonderful careers and a nice house in the suburbs. A MORNING LIKE THIS is a very well-written book which will instantly draw the reader in, and make them feel the same emotions the characters feel. I recommend reading this book with a box of Kleenex by your side.
I came to care deeply for Abby. At first I liked David a lot, but some of the decisions he made caused me to dislike him at times. I felt like some of the events that happened were a bit contrived, and the ending felt a bit rushed to me, like some of the story lines weren’t neatly tied up, yet weren’t left hanging enough to warrant a sequel.
A MORNING LIKE THIS has very strong writing and the reader won’t be able to put the book down despite of some of the circumstances. I have to say this is a very good book, and I will look for more books by this author. Pick up A MORNING LIKE THIS today and experience it for yourself.
