Trapped
for five years in a body that’s neither beast nor man, Stefan is
finally ready
to face his Master and beg forgiveness and instruction in how to become
a man
again. But first, he must face his
desire for his Master. Only then will he
truly be ready to find the answers to the questions he harbors about
himself,
Xandi and Anton.
Picking up
almost directly where the first book left off, Wolf Tales 2: Alexandria takes us further into
this unique
werewolf culture that Ms. Douglas has created. With
much of the real activities of natural wolves
transferred to their
shifter counterparts, this book continues the high intensity of the
first story,
while bringing us the true plot of the series. Anton
is a very interesting man and his introduction
to the developing
pack makes things very lively indeed. Like
the first, this is not a novel for the fainthearted as it opens with a
forced
domination scene. This opening scene,
while handled with unexpected aplomb by the author, is the source of
the
bestiality warning for the book. In it,
Anton, as a wolf, claims and dominates Stefan, who is still human. Still, it lives up to every expectation
created by the first and leaves the reader longing for the next.
