A TAPESTRY OF HOPE by Tracie Peterson and Judith Miller

Jasmine Wainwright is the spoiled only daughter of a wealthy Mississippi plantation owner. When her father agrees to sell his cotton to a Lowell, Massachusetts, cotton mill instead of shipping to England, he also throws an arranged marriage into the deal, even though Jasmine intensely dislikes the arrogant businessman, Bradley Houston.

Jasmine does everything in her power to get out of the marriage, but it occurs, and now she must make the best of it. She is convinced Bradley is punishing her though, when he insists that her personal slave be returned to Mississippi.

Kiara O’Neill and her brother, Paddy, escape starvation in Ireland by traveling to America to be Bradley’s indentured servants. But Bradley has more in mind for Kiara than simply caring for his wife’s needs.

Both Jasmine and Kiara suffer at the hands of this unkind man. Is there any hope of life improving for them? Can Jasmine learn to love her husband? Will God somehow bring hope into their lives?

Book one in the exciting new series Lights of Lowell, A TAPESTRY OF HOPE continues the on-going saga of the Bells of Lowell series. Readers of the previous series will enjoy meeting characters again and seeing how their lives have changed in A TAPESTRY OF HOPE.

Jasmine is an adorable heroine and the reader will quickly come to care for her. Kiara is also realistically characterized. A TAPESTRY OF HOPE is one of the best books I’ve ever read by the Peterson/Miller writing duo. I couldn’t put the book down, I had to see what happened next and hoped things would work out for Jasmine and Kiara. Fans of Peterson and Miller will not be disappointed by this exciting new book. Pick up A TAPESTRY OF HOPE today.
