Hoping for a little
excitement in
her life, Aleea NaDeera registered with Illusions, an elite club that
claims to
create fantasies as good as reality. However, she forgot about the old
adage of
being careful what you ask for… you might just get it.
And get it she did in the
form of
Prince Raeder Darkeen. Raeder needs to
mate with his perfect genetic match in order to save his people. What began as duty for one and fantasy for
the other becomes a red-hot reality. But
is Aleea willing to make all the sacrifices necessary to truly become
Raeder’s
woman?
The first book in the Darkeen’s
Dynasty
series, Raeder’s Woman is a very hot read. It’s intense, if a bit shallow on plot. I’m still not certain as to whom the overall
enemy to the dynasty is, nor was I very pleased with how the conflicts
between
Raeder and Aleea were resolved. Ms.
Evans’ book seems to be one very long sexual interaction with little
breaks for
hints at a plot. I would have been
happier with a bit more plot. Also, the
constant repetition of certain lines by the heroine became tedious in
the
extreme. I was very glad to finish the
book.
