Eleanor Fitzwilliam stowed away on one of her fiancé’s ships in order to escape a dreary existence. She is more than just a pretty face. She has a brain, dammit, and she wants to be recognized for the intelligent person she is. However, a pirate, Robin Steele, has “borrowed” the ship and when they meet all manner of fighting ensues.
Pot of Gold is another quickie thrill ride brought to us by Megan Hart. Eleanor is a strong, independent, and intelligent woman. She gives great attitude and fights against her pirate . . . that is until magic turns them towards each other. Robin is that lovely pirate every woman wishes would abduct her. He is a dashing rogue with a “devil may care” attitude, except when Eleanor steals his leprechaun gold piece. The sex in this book is frequent and hot and the fights lead to a wonderful love that was a joy read for me. If you enjoy pirates and sex, you most definitely will like this story.
