Months ago,
Senior Master Sergeant, J.T. “Tag” Price, was held prisoner during a
mission in a foreign
country. When he returned
home, his wife Rena of 22 years, bathed his bruises with her tears. Vowing to never put Rena through the pain
again, J.T. walked away from his already dissolving marriage. J.T. and Rena began divorce proceedings and
got along for the sake of their two older children.
But when J.T. is at Rena’s house to meet his
son, Rena is struck by an oncoming van and it becomes known that Rena
is
carrying their third child. But can they
agree to disagree on what is best for their unborn child? Can a
marriage
nearly lost and a love that still burns, be saved before it’s too late?
Maybe…but
danger is waiting in the wings. Someone
sets out to destroy everything that J.T. holds dear.
J.T. and his family must join forces to stay
together and stay alive. How far with
the faceless threat go to see J.T. fail?
After six
books in the Wingmen Warriors series,
one would think that Catherine Mann had covered everything imaginable
in her
stories and they would lose their appeal.
Thankfully, such is not the case with Joint
Forces and J.T. Price.
The man sizzles in each page and for a 40+ year old
man; he is the stuff
of even young girl’s dreams. Rena is an
absolutely dynamite woman in this book.
She gives as good as she gets and will accept
nothing less than
everything from her man. I totally
adored her in this story, she was worthy of a man like J.T.
Danger,
suspense and a love that withstands any battle and the angst of raising
young
adults, can be found in Joint Forces. Catherine Mann writes military romance like
few can. Joint Forces
proves that marriage is the most important
thing and while at times it can be rocky, joint
forces are needed to make it work.
This is a story with a wonderful balance of danger,
love and excitement.
The addiction to the Wingmen Warriors
just keeps on thriving!
