As a Shadow
Walker, Dusty and his friends protect Talisman Bay from the creatures and
evils that
threaten its existence. Dusty has an
exciting sex life, but he wants more and in a town like
Talisman Bay that’s asking a lot. Dusty is ready to do whatever it takes to
stop a familiar evil that threatens Talisman Bay and the lives of his
fellow
Shadow Walkers. Will he be able to
prevent the evil from taking over or will he become a pawn in a deadly
game to
end the Shadow Walkers forever?
A beautiful
woman is held against her will and her captor has a specific plan in
mind. As hard as she tries to resist the
brainwashing, her fate is inevitable.
Will the evil force succeed in using her to achieve
his revenge on the
Shadow Walkers? Will she realize who
she really is and find her destiny before it’s too late?
FORSAKEN
TALISMAN is the second story in the Talisman Bay series and its one story
that you
don’t want to miss. Readers who read the
first book in the series, LOVER’S TALISMAN, will be pleased to know
that
Stephen and Mariah are in this book and we continue to see them grow as
a
couple. Also, you won’t want to miss all
the other hunky Shadow Walkers, Marlin, Jake and Ryan to name a few,
who also
complete the character list very nicely.
Grab the ice water, a fan or anything else you can
think of to cool you
off, because the sex is hotter than hot…it’s scorching.
Dusty is one hot hero and his fellow Shadow
Walkers don’t pale in comparison. This
reader is thinking of moving to Talisman Bay.
Ashleigh Raine has created a series
that grabs the reader’s attention and
doesn’t let go. She has you craving more
and more and more. This is one author
whose future keeps looking brighter. As
a rule, I don’t read paranormals, but I enjoyed this book so much that
I can’t
wait for the next book in the series ETERNAL TALISMAN.
I suggest reading the series in order so you
have all the of background information on the Shadow Walkers and the
other
characters. I’m pleased to have the
opportunity to read and review such a wonderful book and I would highly
recommend this to readers of all erotic genres.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dusty has spent the last
twelve
years as a Shadow Walker, defending the world from the forces of evil. When a beautiful woman with no memory comes
into his life, he faces the greatest struggle.
Is she a delicious temptation from evil or the lover
he so desperately
wants? In Talisman Bay, nothing is as it seems,
not even
women without a memory.
The second book in the
Talisman
Bay series, Forsaken
Talisman takes us back into the
lives of the
Shadow Walkers. Catching up with Mariah
and Stephen was nice, but seeing what was happening in the other’s
lives was
also interesting. It is my opinion that
much of this book read like a soap opera, bouncing from one couple of
characters
to another with little reason for the switches.
Dusty and Skylar’s romance was interesting, but not
overwhelming. The almost convenient plot
devices were both
obvious and, sometimes, irritating.
Still, it was an interesting read and I look forward
to the next
installment.
