Cal has been stood up on
what is supposed to be the
happiest day of his life, his wedding day. His bride-to-be has left him
at the
altar, and it’s “all because of the stupid musings of some stargazing
advice
columnist hippie named Fiona Kelly”. Now he has made it his mission to
ruin her
career because she ruined his wedding day. He has bought a radio
station and
moonlights as Ghost Rider, an ominous radio personality who bashes
Fiona’s
advice column and herbal remedies. He needs more dirt on her though, if
he
wants to ruin her career for good. So Cal heads out to her house
to gather
some information. Instead, he ends up rescuing her from an encounter
with a
tree in her greenhouse. He is instantly intrigued by her, and the more
time
that he spends with her, the more time he wants to spend with her.
What’s so
funny about his bone deep attraction to her is that she is as far from
his
usual type as the East is from the West. So what’s he supposed to do?
He
shouldn’t want her the way that he does, and he should be focused on
trying to
ruin her, instead of getting close to her. Then
there is the fact that she has no idea
who he is or that he is the man who is single-handedly trying to ruin
her
career. What will she do when she finds out?
Fiona
writes an advice column, she gives advice based on her reading of the
stars.
She also has a shop where she sells herbal remedies and crystals. She
firmly
believes in what she does and she hates that this D.J., Ghost Rider has
taken
it upon himself to ruin her. The problem is only complicated by the
fact that
she has a stalker that is interested in ruining more than her career;
he wants
to put an end to her. When Cal walks into her
greenhouse and rescues
her, she is drawn to him, yet she knows that he is all wrong for her.
In spite
of that though, she wants him, his kisses set her on fire and urge her
to go
with the feelings that are inside of her. This is all before she knows
who he
is. Will she feel the same way when she finds out who he is, especially
now
that she needs him to protect her from her stalker? Will the delicate
bond of
trust that she shares with Cal be breached by his
secrets? Will
she blame Cal for her stalker’s
intentions? Will Cal end up being who Fiona
fancies? Or
will their romance be over before it even has a chance?
FIONA’S
FANCY is a tale of two opposites attracting. Even the stars didn’t
predict that
Cal and Fiona would make it work, but they proved that they were meant
to be.
It is a sweet and tender love story with a little action thrown in.
Cal is a rugged ex- military
man who is
the perfect foil for Fiona and her carefree, hippie-like ways. They
begin a
tumultuous affair that is based on their physical attraction but
quickly turns
into a mutual love match. The love scenes are sweet and tender, while
the
attraction between them and the romance that ensues is passionate and
deep.
