A woman
with no past...Nikki Taylor only knows the she works for a government
agency.
Her last mission had gone terribly wrong and Nikki was left for dead. When she was picked up by the agency she works
for, she was retrained and rehabilitated to their standards. After ten years of searching for the answers
to her past, the agency may just give them to her, after one last job.
But
investigating CIA Operative and Chief, Ricardo “Rick” Harden, proves to
be her
toughest job yet as her body is drawn to him and he makes her forget
everything
she's ever been trained to expect.
Rich Harden
is under suspicion for treason with the CIA.
Rick likes to be in control of everything around him
and keeps his
emotions in check. Living with the memory of his dead wife, Rick tries
to keep
his memories at bay, but when he meets Nikki Taylor, who bears
resemblance to
his late wife, Rick's life is in more of an upheaval than ever.
In a race
against time, secrets of CIA Tiara Task Force Two, smoldering passion
and an
unknown identity, Rick and Nikki unlock and evaluate everything they
have ever
known. Can they find what they are
looking for before time runs out?
Gennita Low
returns with the sequel to Into Danger, with Facing Fear. This is
an engaging romance full of secrets, intrigue, danger, passion, control
and
espionage. Rick and Nikki's relationship
is passionate and even volatile. They
create sparks off one another and explode within the pages. Both
characters are
strong, determined and have dark souls who need one another. Ms. Low balances all aspects of this book,
mystery, danger, passion, all masterfully.
Just when the reader thinks they have it all figured
out, a new surprise
or spin was thrown into the fray which was exciting and hooked the
reader all
the more.
One aspect
I truly enjoyed with Facing Fear
is that, though Nikki's past was a mystery and it caused her a lot of
fear and
complications, her memories of her Grandmothers advice - words of
wisdom, were
endearing and thought provoking. Though Facing
Fear had many exciting elements to it that had me flipping the
pages,
Nikki and Rick were absolutely addicting characters who are
unforgettable. I hope Ms. Low has plans
for another Tiara
Task Force Two story. The secondary
characters were intriguing as well.
Gennita Low is one of the best romantic suspense
authors around today; I
wouldn't recommend readers miss out on the webs she weaves.
