How does a
woman who once had her pick of men to share her bed, go from that to
being the
wife of an Orthodox Jew? Join Annie, her
husband Joel and see how, in Double
Mitzvah.
Theirs is a
marriage of warmth, religion, understanding and acceptance. The relationship between Annie and Joel is
wonderfully written and shows the compromises some make for love. Living the life where this religion is
practiced faithfully, Annie had to adjust to their ways, and with the
love of
Joel, theirs is a passionate and loving marriage.
Share the
religious beliefs and the love between Annie and Joel in their journey
from
love at first sight, to marriage and the years that followed in Double Mitzvah.
Erica
DeQuaya pens a journey that is truly amazing to share with Joel and
Annie. Told from Annie’s point of view,
the reader
shares in the acceptance and love for her husbands religion (one that
she at
one time wanted nothing to do with) as she expresses the love she has
for the
family and their beliefs, which she embraces.
While some may not understand the religion, it
doesn’t necessarily
matter in this case, Ms. DeQuaya writes the passion filled words of a
woman who
holds tight to her beliefs, stands behind them and her husband 100%. It is Annie’s passion and voice that holds
the reader hostage to Double Mitzvah
and curious about the Orthodox Jewish religion.
Through all
the above, Ms. DeQuaya adds some of the hottest scenes that melt the
pages. Joel and Annie never made love
before their marriage, which strengthened the bond they shared, but
through
Annie’s voice, we feel the sexual tension and desire they had for one
another. Annie and Joel’s marriage was
loving, heated and inspiring.
Erica
DeQuaya pens an amazing tale within only twenty-eight pages. It was enlightening, as well as touching and
arousing. Read this author as never
before. She has written a fantastic tale with Double
Mitzvah that shouldn’t be missed.
