Jane Wilde
feels a sense of freedom after the divorce from her controlling husband. Jane has always been on the quiet side, yet
feels there is so much more she wants to experience.
When her best friend convinces her to beat
her phobia of water and take swimming lessons, Jane’s life is forever
changed
and she experiences things she never even thought possible. Her swim instructor is gorgeous, sexy and the
ultimate of all men, Josh DeWet. Jane’s
body reacts to Josh’s before he ever touches her. Josh
brings out so many feelings in Jane that
she doesn’t know quite how to handle it all.
Josh DeWet
will do whatever it takes to show Jane that she is his mate. Josh is a selkie with telepathic powers. He knows he must return home quickly with
Jane and sets out to prove to her that they belong together.
Can Jane
accept all that Josh is? In his arms she
finds a love like she’s never known before.
But is it enough for a forever?
Wet and Wilde by Tawny Taylor is a
perfect depiction
of that title and it is a term that the reader feels during and
even after the story is read. Josh is a
loveable and strong hero who sees what he wants and goes after it. He endeared himself to me with his patience
with Jane and showing her the true woman inside of her that she was
trying to
keep closed to the world. It takes some
convincing on Josh’s part to persuade Jane that their love is worth any
risk.
Tawny Taylor balances humour
effortlessly with
the passion and sexual pleasures in Wet
and Wilde. Josh and Jane heat up
the pages, that have the reader reaching for their own water, and the
humourous
dialogue between them keeps the story entertaining and gives it a light
feel to
it. This is a
quickly paced tale that is extremely hot.
Be prepared with a towel nearby to wipe your brow,
Ms. Taylor writes
steamy sex scenes like few can. Wet
and Wilde delivers exactly
what the title indicates with two unforgettable characters.
