Federal

psyche, sometimes all it takes is a single touch and she can read their
thoughts, see their fates. Brenna has
never been successful at stopping the impending death of those she
loved, but
hopes to save Ethan from the fate she has seen of his.
Brenna and
Ethan are kidnapped and taken to the armed compound of Jorak Zhukov,
where the
ending is unstoppable and the seclusion for both of them is almost more
than
they can bear as their attraction for one another becomes explosive. Will Ethan exact the revenge on Zhukov he has
been seeking? Can Brenna save Ethan,
another person she has come to care for?
It was with
great excitement, yet sadness to read Jenna Mills’ latest tale, Shock Waves. Being
the third book about the Carrington
family (book one-The Perfect Target,
book two-Crossfire), I knew it
would be the last of this strong-willed and exciting family that we
would
see. Readers are graced with Ethan
Carrington’s story, what made him the man he is, the truth of why Jorak
Zhukov
was hell-bent on seeing the Carrington’s suffer and even just a little
bit, we
fall in love with this dynamic man ourselves.
Brenna is an intriguing character and very much the
perfect match for
Ethan. She is the balm that could sooth
his tortured soul. I enjoyed her very
much, for her sweetness, her strong will and her heart.
Jenna Mills
once again proves she is a force to behold in the romance genre. Shock
Waves is heart-stopping adventure, fast-paced, exciting and a
powerful
romance throughout the story. Readers
can feel the shock waves between Ethan and Brenna as it gets hotter and
hotter
every time they are together. Ms. Mills
created a wonderful tale that has it all, and then some!
Though I hate to see stories about this
family come to an end, I look forward to the next Jenna Mills release,
hopefully very soon. One can’t say romance
without mentioning the name of this talented author along with it.
