Andre Peters despairs of
ever seeing
his wife smile again. Months before
Claudia Peters, the beautiful and talented hairdresser to the stars,
had been
involved in a drunk driving accident.
She faces serious therapy in order to walk again,
yet refuses to
consider it. Andre has about reached the
end of his rope when the answer to his prayers appears on his doorstep.
Dante Adams is between
jobs when his
car breaks down a few blocks from the Peters home.
He’s a live-in medical companion, trained in
physical therapy and massage. He needs a
place to stay; Andre needs help with Claudia.
The two men make a deal… a deal that pleases
everyone.
This third offering from
the new
publisher, Changeling Press, is the hottest that I have read so far. Ms. Austin’s Room to Play is an
intensely sensual story that explores how a single friendship between a
man and
a couple, turns into an intense affair between all three.
Dante and Andre’s careful dance before
settling their focus on Claudia is masterfully handled; Claudia’s fear
at her
disability is very realistic. I greatly
enjoyed this book. I hope that Ms.
Austin will be offering us another glimpse into the lives of these
three
people.
