PRISONER OF LOVE AND VIOLET LOVE by Elizabeth Batten-Carew

PRISONER OF LOVE
Elaine can’t believe her misfortune. She has been captured by slave traders and is put on the auction block. Luckily, she is rescued by Jake, a gentle and caring man who takes care of her during her time of vulnerability. She can’t help but act on her feelings of attraction to her savior. They begin a gentle and passionate love affair in their haven of safety. But will their real lives separate them once they are forced to return to their normal, everyday lives or can they overcome their differences and make a life together?

PRISONER OF LOVE is a passionate and gentle story. The brutal capture of Elaine and her dashing rescue by Jake is captivating. It is a brief love story that is sweet and touching. The loves scenes are light and loving. It is a wonderful short story, a great read for when you’re short on time and still want to squeeze in a little romance.

VIOLET LOVE
He is a warrior that must capture Silana, who is a fugitive and saboteur; she’s wanted for taking out two of the bases on the planet, Signel V. They are sworn enemies, yet neither can deny their obvious attraction to each other. He soon finds that he cannot bear to harm her. Their love cannot be though, due to their duties. How can he show her that they are meant to be together? Will their love carry them through the trial that they must endure to be together?

VIOLET LOVE is a futuristic romance told in the first person of a male warrior. It is refreshing to read a story that is told by a man who is head over heels for a woman that he shouldn’t. The futuristic element keeps it interesting and the love story is satisfying. A definite must for anyone who enjoys the futuristic plot and light PG-rated love scenes. Take a few minutes and enjoy these two tales.
