Vampire
Sean Patrick has
gone to Las
Vegas
seeking the ultimate sexual thrill; however, Sin City offers nothing but the same boring games
he could
have had at home. When Sue Hamilton
spotted Sean, she knew he was the man she had spent years waiting to
meet.
However, she guards a dangerous secret and dares not indulge in more
than a few
hours with Sean.
Marilyn
Lee’s One Night in Vegas is a difficult
book to read. Despite the intense
sexuality of the story and the bond that forms between the characters,
I had
trouble with the initial sex scene between them. It
is my opinion that Sue raped Sean, despite
his eventually willingness for the encounter.
Such an event is unlikely to form a good base for a
later loving
relationship, especially after he goes seeking revenge on her. Still, the characters are interesting, as is
the background story, and I am wondering how Ms. Lee will handle
Valdimir’s
comeuppance in a later book.
