Disgusted with her
grandmother’s
newly created Pack Law, Elsa Rousseau ran.
She ran to find a place of her own and to find the
right to make her own
decisions. She wanted to choose her own
mate, on her own terms. Unfortunately,
running met never settling down for her grandmother was hunting her,
wanting
her back, and Elsa wondered if she would ever have peace until she met
Rick
Bolton.
Alpha
male of a small but emotionally rich pack, Rick Bolton offered Elsa
sanctuary
and protection. He also wanted her for
himself as his queen bitch. His own pack
was a mess, fraught with troubles within and without, but that wasn’t
going to
stop him from claiming his moon princess.
The second installment of
Lorie
O’Clare’s Lunewulf series, In Her
Blood¸ is an
intense story with a very fast pace. It
moves at the speed of a werewolf, leaving you panting in its wake. Rick and Elsa are a true alpha pair,
balancing each other as they lead their pack.
Elsa’s ability to see the whole, to find and take
her proper place at
Rick’s side is richly handled. This is a
delightful read and a wonderful continuance to the first book, Pack Law.
