FROM ITALY WITH LOVE: MOTIVATED BY LETTERS, FOUR WOMEN TRAVEL TO ITALIAN CITIES AND FIND LOVE anthology

From Italy with Love Anthology tells the story of four American women who travel to Italy following delivery of letters. Each woman discovers a little bit of heaven, and a little bit of themselves in the country of love - Italy.

An Open Door – American-Italian Steffi Rosetti, an up a coming fashion magazine writer is assigned to cover the new spring fashion shows in Milan. Before she leaves, however, Steffi receives an invitation to come to her estranged Grandmother’s home in Italy. Steffi is torn between the betrayal she’s grown up with. The feeling her father just up and left she and her mother and the desire to discover more about the man she hardly knows. Now that he is passed away, should she search for answer with his mother? This, of course, isn’t the only thing Steffi has to contend with: take in the co-worker who demands a little less than perfection, an encounter on the street she should have been ready for, and many other adventures and you have a sweet, fast paced story. (Martin)

The Lure of Capri - Terri Donatelli is a great heroine. Terri grew up hearing the stories of her great-grandmother’s adventures in Capri. Adventures that led to romance and great love. Although Terri is committed to safe and somewhat mundane professor Ryan, she plans to use the time in Capri to find out if a full-bloodied handsome Italian hunk waits for her. But, Terri’s plans are foiled – repeatedly. When she has opportunity to act on her fantasy, will she be able to? Or will she realize God has different plans before it’s too late. (Mills) (This is my personal favorite, although they are all soo delicious!)

From Florence With Love - When movie star, Samantha Day gets contacted by a paternal grandparent, she decides to visit Italy and search for who she really is. The Italian roots run deep in Samantha’s blood, and for too long she’s ignored the. When she claims her heritage and real name – Florence Celini, she is satisfied, but how will others see this dual image? Samantha will have to depend on God to guide her through. (Panagiotopoulos)

Roman Holiday – Emily’s grandmother has passed on. She is the only family Emily ever knew. To make matters worse her fiancé breaks their engagement. There is one person she can turn to, grandmother’s dear friend in Rome. Broken-hearted Emily decides to visit but receives a cool reception by the friend’s grandson. This same man travels to dangerous parts in the cover of darkness. When Emily discovers his secret will the two be drawn together or will painful pasts tear them apart? (Richer)

In 2000 my husband took me on a grand European vacation - including some great memory making days in Italy. I so much enjoyed re-visiting the land of love in the pages of this book. Each story has its own charm, and all have alluring plots and endearing characters.
