Before she leaves, however, Steffi receives an invitation to come to her estranged Grandmother’s home in Italy. Steffi is torn between the betrayal she’s grown up with. The feeling her father just up and left she and her mother and the desire to discover more about the man she hardly knows. Now that he is passed away, should she search for answer with his mother? This, of course, isn’t the only thing Steffi has to contend with: take in the co-worker who demands a little less than perfection, an encounter on the street she should have been ready for, and many other adventures and you have a sweet, fast paced story. Although Terri is committed to safe and somewhat mundane professor Ryan, she plans to use the time in Capri to find out if a full-bloodied handsome Italian hunk waits for her. But, Terri’s plans are foiled – repeatedly. When she has opportunity to act on her fantasy, will she be able to? Or will she realize God has different plans before it’s too late. In 2000 my husband took me on a grand European vacation - including some great memory making days in Italy. I so much enjoyed re-visiting the land of love in the pages of this book. Each story has its own charm, and all have alluring plots and endearing characters.
