Selena Cross, a Wiccan
and
submissive, is finally ready to lay her former Master to rest and find
a new
love. She runs a bed and breakfast for
pagans and others seeking a respite from the world, a chance to rest
and
recharge. She believes in the power of
love and ancient gods to protect her and those she loves.
Tampa architect, Zachary Long,
comes to
the bed and breakfast seeking a chance to live for another three days,
long
enough to testify against the mob. He
just wanted a chance to rest. What he
found was the submissive slave of his dreams, if he could survive long
enough
to fully claim her.
Colors of Love is the latest release
from Ann Jacobs.
It is a rich blending of two ancient traditions –
Wicca magic and BDSM -
both elements are treated equally, a delicate blending that is
unexpected in
its beauty. Zach’s reluctance to take
Selena as his submissive is wonderfully handled, as is her commitment
to him in
spite of the odds. The sex and sex magic
is intense. My only complaint is that
the ending seemed a bit rushed, but not too much to ruin the story
completely
for me.
