Always the
bridesmaid, never the bride. That is one
saying Bethany Von Meeter vows to end immediately.
Determined to meet Mr. Right, Beth decides to
give online computer dating a try, but after a dozen undesirable
candidates,
she meets Spencer James and things begin to look up.
That is, until she learns that he is a
journalist doing a story on computer dating.
Beth's first instinct is to get away from Spencer,
but when she
contemplates the possibility of having him help her out, she makes him
a deal
he can't refuse. In exchange for helping
him with his story and allowing him to write about each of her dates,
Spencer
has to write her personal ads to garner more men and better dates. But with each date Beth goes on, thanks to
Spencer, all she can seem to think about is him, the harsh, yet sexy
man she
just can't resist...
Spencer
James is not looking for love, a girlfriend or a woman period, except
to get
his story. But when he meets Bethany Von
Meeter, she burrows her way into his cold heart. After
being burned by his ex-wife, who never
seems to go away, Spencer doesn't get involved with anyone. But watching Beth go on date after date and
his desire for her spiraling out of control, Spencer discovers he might
never
be happy without her. But how can a
harsh and cynical man like him, possibly open his heart to a woman like
Beth?
Breakfast
at Bethany's is impossible to forget! Kathleen O'Reilly returns with book three
of The
Bachelorette Pact and brings the readers Beth's story.
I thought the first two books of this series
were wonderful and hard to top, but each story is more entertaining and
enjoyable than the last. Beth and
Spencer were a hoot! Their interactions
and sassy wit kept me hooked and laughing out loud.
Beth, known as the 'quiet one', certainly
livens up the series with her humour and her charm.
She is exactly what Spencer needed in his life. Their relationship was electrifying and
charming. Ms. O'Reilly is proving to be
an author whose writing is becoming addictive. With each book, I have
anticipated them all more and more. Her
characters are simply wonderful and unforgettable.
No man can deny these four ladies of The
Bachelorette Pact.
Kathleen O'Reilly has a series that shines!
The last
Bachelorette has to fall sometime right?
Oh yes, Cassandra is the last lady standing single,
but for how
long? This has to be the most
anticipated book in the series. Don't
miss book four, The Longest Night (June 04).
