Nessa Dahl is as
straight-laced and normal as they come, which is pretty unusual in a
town like New Orleans. She's grown up with eccentric people – she does
live in the Dahl house after all – and currently shares said house with
her aunts and several characters only found in, well, fiction.
Which makes it that much more odd that the owner of the bank Nessa works
for thinks she's responsible for the robberies going on. It's driving
Jeremiah MacNaught crazy that someone is dressing up in crazy disguises
and robbing his banks every year and no one can catch them. So he's
going to do it himself. With his prime suspects help.
With more twists and turns, crazy characters and heat unrelated to the
weather, THIGH HIGH is just an all-around fun book. Yes, it's silly.
Yes, it's a stretch. But that's ok, because Christina Dodd always makes
it work. It's sexy, fast, funny and tender and with her unique style,
the author pulls it all together in a book that ends all too soon. With
little time to read anymore, Christina Dodd is one author who still
makes it to my to be read pile.
