Dominique Dawson
was terrified and headed to a place that she had no choice but to go to.
Many years ago in her childhood, England had been a place full of happy
memories, but now since she had stepped off the boat, she realized that
England may now be a place filled with terrible regrets.
Her mother being French and her father an Admiral in the British army,
Dominique and her brother, Marcel were left to fend for themselves in
the midst of war when her parents became deceased. With only French
relatives of the most detestable for them to rely on, Dominique soon
finds herself in a battle and unfortunately winds up fighting to save
her brother. The only problem is she must do it under the worse of
terms: as a governess to a British Admiral and his son.
Admiral Chase Randal didn’t have a need for a weak fearful little
governess to be a part of his home. Just looking at her told the Admiral
that she wouldn’t last, but that was at first glance. Later after
Dominique had settled and had come down for the evening supper, her
beauty almost took his breath away. Regrettably, the Admiral chooses not
to pursue the beauty but to focus on catching the spy within his midst
and then returning to sea.
THE FALCON AND THE SPARROW by M. L. Tyndall was a book full of nail
biting wonders and hopes. Knowing M. L. Tyndall’s work, I would not be
disappointed as she keeps the reader engrossed and into each character,
storyline and plot. Now all we need is for Mrs. Tyndall to write just a
little bit faster! I’m ready for my next book!
