Ben Cabrera had
worked for Nathan Delacroix previously, but was surprised by the
candidate’s current request. Instead of protecting himself, Nathan was
hiring Elite Security Specialists, and Ben in particular, to protect
Nathan’s daughter during his campaign as he ran for governor. He had
been threatened that unless he stepped down in his campaign, what was
most precious to him, which would be his daughter Christine, would be in
jeopardy. It was with Ben that he trusted his daughter’s safety.
Christy was determined to do what was necessary to remain safe, and not
be a hindrance to her father’s campaign. Having Ben with her 24/7 was
simply an advantage she was willing to take. She was attracted to Ben,
and certain he was attracted to her. She realized that they were from
different backgrounds, but unlike her mother, Christy judged people on
their internal worth, not family, fortune or fame.
Wild for Him is another sizzling addition to the Wilde series. I loved
Ben and Christy, and the occasional glimpses of past, and hopefully
future, characters. The attraction and passion was intense, but the
depth of character development is what truly makes this a great read. I
eagerly await the next Wilde book.
