Paranormal Romance

When an assassination attempt on her friend failed, Quinn accepted the mission to find a safe place for them until the perpetrator could be caught. In a parallel universe, Quinn found friends but also stumbled across something unusual. A ghost. Only this was no ordinary specter, this one could touch her and make her yearn for something she’s always wanted but never imagined could be hers.

Caleb Marshall did something stupid when he was younger and it cost him his life. Now seventy-five years later, he believed he’s finally found the reason he remained behind...Quinn. When Caleb learned Quinn was in danger, he vowed to do anything in his power to keep her safe…even if it meant coming back to life.

Danger deepened as outside forces worked to separate them. Not only are people from both worlds out to kill them, Caleb wanted revenge against the family who murdered him. The same family that had sheltered Quinn. But things changed when Caleb became flesh and blood. She now must make a decision -to save Caleb, she would have to betray her friends. Will Quinn risk everything for love, or will Caleb take that choice away from her?

The yearning in the beginning of the story between Quinn and Caleb really sucked me into the book. Caleb and his complex character managed to capture and hold my attention throughout. Unfortunately, when Caleb came back to life, Quinn’s character fell to the wayside and became a bit too submissive for my taste. The mysteries weaved into the story kept me interested, and I couldn’t wait to find out how Caleb and Quinn managed to escape the unusual twists in the plot. The ending wrapped things up a bit faster than I would have liked, but left me with an overall enjoyment of the book. The story is a continuation of Rebecca York’s Moon series. ‘Ghost Moon’ can be read alone, but reading the other books will enrich the story.
