Jennifer Graham, a
recent divorcee, is finding it a little difficult to adjust to the
single life. Not only is she raising two boys by herself, she must find
a way to produce income now that she is unemployed. In order to do that
she must rely on God a little more heavily than she ever has before.
Out-of-the-blue,
Jennifer is surprised when she learns that she has inherited an estate
from her uncle, whom she doesn’t know. She is blown away when she learns
that the estate is a funeral home. Thinking that she could make some
quick money by selling the home, Jennifer travels down to Florida to
take a look at the funeral home.
A turn of events
pushes Jennifer to reopen the funeral, save a couple of jobs and
re-evaluate her life. With the kids adjusting to the slow life in town,
making friends, and appreciating the home town feel, Jennifer begins to
see and feel things in a whole new light.
DOESN’T SHE LOOK NATURAL by Angela Hunt had a real life hometown feel.
In writing a story about a funeral home, Ms. Hunt masterfully creates
each character that passes through the funeral home with an air of
simplicity and realness. This book was artfully along as tastefully
done. The message created was surprising coming from this type of theme.
Angela Hunt is one of the most brilliant authors on the market and I
would highly recommend that everyone reads every last one of her books!
