Lauren Holbrook
has found her calling: playing matchmaker with her friends. With the
successful match of her sister and new husband, Lauren thinks she can
make the right match again. Her next planned match is Nick and Ruby.
Nick is the pastor for the singles group at church. Ruby is her
co-worker who just can’t function without planning every single moment
of her day. Lauren does not want to believe anything could go amiss
with this potential couple.
Lauren also has
plans for herself; she does not plan on getting married, she is quite
content to stay living with her widowed father and take care of him.
Lauren does have a grip on her future plans or so she thinks. Until she
realizes God may have other plans in store for her. They may not be
what she would have hoped.
A great chick-lit
book with over the top characters. Keep the tissues handy, the
humor will have you laughing to the point of wiping the happy tears off
your face. Lauren has her heart in the right place but sometimes people
do things which upset her apple cart. Don’t miss the next installment
of Lauren Holbrook’s continuing match making efforts in Re-Match.
