Fanny Broadmoor
has always been a fun-loving, family oriented person. When her
grandfather, the only close relative who truly loves her dies, her whole
world is suddenly at the hands of her Uncle Jonas, a person of whom she
does not fully trust. This in itself creates a battleground between her
and the rest of the Broadmoors.
Jealousy begins to
arise at the reading of her grandfather’s will and Fanny is left feeling
blamed and unwanted. Fanny then turns to the only other person that is
stable and makes sense in her life. Michael Atwell.
Michael Atwell has
loved Fanny since they were young children. Growing up he was always
told that a friendship like theirs should never have been and that there
could never be anything more. Declaring his love for Fanny, Michael
determines that he and Fanny can and will have a life together, but
there is only one thing that stands in their way. Uncle Jonas.
A DAUGHTER’S
INHERITANCE by Tracie Peterson and Judith Miller is a read that will
leave you filled with many emotions. I was so angry at a character at
one point in the book that I had to voice my anger to a friend while on
the phone one day! The story is very well written, the love interests
work wonderful together. I definitely would be interested in reading the
next in the series just to get some closure with some of the
characters.
